Well..
It was'nt quite as
I predicted the Apple iPod "Boombox" would be like.
But it's not
too bad. Quite minimalistic and low tech, but for £249, I would want it to make my cups of tea for me too!
"iPod Hi-Fi
Teasmade" anyone?
EDIT: Someone's already got their hands on one and has posted shots of it being "un-boxed" on their
Flickr page. It looks
really big!

One assumes that it would come with a white grill device for the front of the box with a gay apple motive on it?
I notice that you help people out with their blogs. I need that same kind of help. If you are interested in helping poor old me, please email me at domingus_gingus@yahoo.com. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks.
It does look nice, but the weakest link in the audio quality chain is the iPod.
In back to back tests against my traditional formats through the same amp and speakers the iPod sounds thin and compressed, even with quality sound files.
I'll stick to playing my iPod through my delicious DAB and listening to CDs and vinyl through my decent stereo when I crave audiophile quality.
Thru your DAB?
Explain young sir, or feel the lash of my birch against your buttocks (again).
(I know what a DAB is.. just tell me about the linkage).
A simple lead with a walkman style jack on each end.
(ahem, somebody still has my iPod transmitter, we must meet up for drinks)
Might get myself an iTrip when i'm in New York!
Your little device did'nt quite cut the mustard for me!
*Sigh*
How many times must I hear that phrase?
Damn that's pretty.
After going thru two iTrips, I decided it was time to try something more reliable, I got one of these, it's amazing.
