Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy film review
To summarise: Bad, awful, rubbish and crap.

I can't understand why they let people do this to films. Some poor sod who has never read the books will watch this and think its pants and dismiss the original works completely. At least the LOTR films were passable as adhering to the story (just about). And why did they make Ford Prefect black? Probably just to appeal to the american youth who they think are so narrow minded that they will associate with an "icon" and got to see the film. I did'nt know Mos Def was so popular anyway. Maybe 20cent, Eminem or Snoop should have also been considered.
Next we will be getting another bastardised version of another Sci-fi classic starring a black rap star come actor. Oh no.. they beat me to it.

Hitch Hickers is a literary classic IMHO, in the same vein as LORT. Luckily, Peter Jackson did LOTR a relative justice. It comes as no surprise that seeing as Douglas Adams is not around to have steered the HH’s movie in the correct direction, a bunch of American’s have dumbed it down so it will appeal to most fuck witted American teenagers. I won’t watch it now, as it will only make me want to weep. A sad day indeed.

I shall reserve my judgement on the film until I've actually seen it. It may be completely crap and not true to the original, but it's got the bloke out of the Office so might be worth a chuckle. (And I'm more than happy watching crap films, I thought Catwoman was great)
As to whether casting a black actor in the role of Ford Prefect being wrong? I don't remember the colour of his skin being mentioned in the book.
You'll be telling me that God shouldn't have been played by Morgan Freeman in Bruce Almighty next.
Whats the problem lads, Star Wars wil be released very soon and we all know that is better than HHGTTG, this show is so over rated is it not
